Small cuts on my foreskin

I am 20, and since a month i have been getting very small cuts on my foreskin. I am able to retract my entire foreskin but it stretches the cuts a bit and they open up a bit again. the cuts are very fine, and there isn't any unusual redness either. Any idea what it could be? There isn't any pain normally, just sometimes the cuts may touch something which causes it to pain

Could be the beginning of phimosis. Go see your health care provider and get it checked out

Yes it's normal. Use lube or make sure your partner is very wet.

This is the reason I got circumcised. Small cuts that got worse over the years. They will come and go but will get worse with scarring

Does phimosis occur all of a sudden by itself also? Because there is no reddness at all to indicate an infection, nor is there any pain or itching or swelling

It is caused by a fungal infection,you need some antifungal creme

The cuts only occur when i pull the foreskin, and easily heal in less than a day, could it still be fungal?

very likely to be fungal,simple and cheap to treat yourself

Possibly from yeast infection. Try treating with clotrimazole.

am diabetic and have this problem every now and again and was told its thrush so i usually treat it with canestan cream as per pharmasist instruction

I find regular application night and morning keeps this at bay. It never used to occur when I was younger and had oilier skin naturally but I’m in my 70s now and my skin generally is dry so I have a flare up now again which more coconut oil through the day seems to deal with. If it is fungal the reported anti-fungal properties of coconut oil must be what helps as well as the moisturising effect.
