Hi, almost at 6 weeks since partial circumcision with small preputioplasty.
Since the operation the remaining foreskin has not been able to return the forskin back over the head due to swelling. There is still a indent where incision was made.
I’ve checked paraphimosis, there are no obvious signs of blood deprivation and when erect the surgery line isn’t really tight.
My question, has anyone else had partial circumcision and did you have the same?
Should I be looking at ice packing it and trying to reduce swelling?

Just in case anyone finds this with similar issues. After 5 weeks I had a follow up.
The doc said it’s swollen because I haven’t brought it back over the head. It took 2 days of trying by applying pressure to the swelling to reduce before I could get it to return over the head.
After day 4 it would stay over head and the swelling reduced over the next week.
Any pain during applying pressure?? I have same issues swelling is there and can’t get skin back in flaccid but at night erection glans come upside 90% open and skin make a bunch type and looks swollen over there .. more swollen looks like at frenulum below glans part i also have a cut of foreskin which is still healing and make pain upper side where is frenulum does anyone have this type?? Now there pink skin is come ..i also can’t able to take foreskin below glans in flaccid due to pain and swollen does you have same problem?? Should i need to do that then only swollen goes?? How it looks after 2-3 months everything is fine??
Hi,Sorry, been a busy year and not sure where the time has gone.
Hope your all healed up now?
How is it almost a year since surgery?
The only issue I have luckily is the skin doesn’t return on its own. It’s not tight and moves freely but the scar line doesn’t flex as easy so the skin bunches up behind the head. Like when waking up I normally have to return because of the morning tent situation.
Because of having less length of skin, it does retract a bit to easily sometimes.
