Hi,

I had my circumcision 6.5 weeks ago.

From day one I always had more swelling on the left hand side

there is still some swelling, although not as much.

Is it safe to masturbate now or do I need to wait for the swelling to go don completely? I have heard thiss can take up to a year.

I was thinking of tring it with a condom and lube?

If you still have some swelling, I would NOT masturbate. You are still healing and can delay your healing process. If you can resist, you can just stimulate your glans until you ejaculate. That’s what I did. No stroking of the shaft!

Six weeks is the recommended time before having sex so guess you should be ok.I read advice to wear a condom for the first time, which was ok until it came to taking it off. That was more painful than I expected.

I would suggest using plenty of lube and take your time, be prepared to stop if it becomes painful.
