Hairs regarding circumcision

So just now I went to pee and I did and I saw a hair I think a pubic hair sticking up from my tip and I pulled it and it turns out it was under the scab on my tip and it pulled off which felt horrible and idk what these are had anyone seen these before???

Could be a really thin, monofilament suture. I’m pretty sure I had some similar sutures that ran through my glans as well.

Did you trim your pubic hair before your circumcision? It is regarded as good practice to trim your pubes so that stray hairs cannot get trapped in either the wound itself or the dressings.

Don't shave your pubes as this can cause small cuts that could attract infection, just trim the hair short a few days in advance of the surgery.

Yes I had these issues on and off esp. after I cut my own hair and the stuff got stuck down there. When I gently pulled, it started to hurt. So I stopped pulling and just did what I always did - take a shower, wash there with soap and so on. Over the course of days, they just came out by themselves.
