post circumcision sensitivity

hey guys im 19 and around 6 weeks past my circumcision and the sensitivity has gone down sonce the first week but still hurts to drag my finger across the tip. for work im a tradie so iv been wearing a gauze over it during the day cause i cant just leave it raw and rub on my undies. so i was wondering when sensitivity went down for other guys and when i should expect it to get better

I’m on month 3 and still sensitive. Some days more than others but a lot right after I shower. I’m still wrapping it up when I go out which is getting really annoying. I try to go bare under my clothes but it’s still too sensitive and it would be impossible to get things done. I’m going crazy!

try covering it in vaseline i cant do that all day but at night it feels better to just put vaseline on and wear boxers and you have a comfortable sleep. but test it on your own cause it took me a bit to get there

Your boxers don’t get stuck to the glans with Vaseline? I have been putting some on my glans but instead I sleep naked

it gets a little attached but i just slowly pull the boxers away and its all good

The excessive sensitivity of the glans will be reduced the more it is able to make contact with clothing, your hand, wash cloths, etc. Sometimes you just have to force yourself through the discomfort and get the glans desensitized by contact.

At day 36 I started to have normal showers, when water directly hits the tip it still feels sensitive but Its completely bearable, at this moment with tight underwear I feel normal, and sleep normal, but It took me 36 days because my glans were never exposed in my 24 years of life, Its still sensitive to a lot of things but Its much more bearable than before, so just be patient, Im currently at day 39 and every day it gets better!
