I'm 19 and I just underwent a circumcision due to phimosis. I'm on day 2 and I was wondering if these are normal.
1. The tip of my penis is incredibly sensitive. I have to wear a gauze over it constantly
2. Urinating is impossible without causing major splashage. I basically can't pee unless I take a shower. Is this a normal thing or am I suffering from meatonis something something?

Hey..Cool..your are still at 2nd day...it will take 1-2 weeks to loose the glance sensitivity and 1st week it will be hard to adjust the urination but after that it will be ok. But don't hold the urination. Keep patience..bye time goes it will heal
I’m a few days from 2 weeks and had the same issues. I had extreme phimosis and in 38 years my head hasn’t seen the light of day. But today I managed to wear pants all day. Also, now it’s not wrapped I can pee straight so keep going, there is light at the end of the tunnel
I’m 18 days out and experienced same things as you. I had to pee sitting down and kept it wrapped to function. Tighter underwear that keep it up and prevent movement were what worked best for me.
The pamphlet that the hospital clinic gave me told me to wear loose clothing while other sources online tell me to wear tight underwear. Im getting conflicting information sort of and j was wondering what worked best for you
Yes it’s confusing, I think loose to allow it to breathe and prevent moisture build up, but I couldn’t function, couldn’t walk without having it stay in place, just too painful. So for me having something that was tight enough to keep it in place when I was walking worked well.
Hi, that's all normal especially the sensitivity after having phimosis this can take some time to adjust you may need to use dressings to be able to do your daily life. Spraying from peeing will eventually go it's just some swelling around your meatus. when you go just sit down instead of standing
Just give it some time and things will get better. You made a wise decision in getting circumcised, and now there will be a lifetime of benefits for you. Eliminating phimosis is just beginning. Pay no mind to the negative posts. There is an anti-circumcision crusade currently going on here, with a few individuals posting mis and disinformation.
