I’ve been off work now for 12 days and get asked every couple of days by a colleague how much longer I’ll be off for. I work at a Tesco so I do a lot of walking around and in some instances heavy lifting. I know they’d like me back soon as possible but I don’t want to rush back, does anyone have any suggestion of what I could say or how long I should be off for? Thanks

Circumcision recovery time
Unfortunately, only you know how your body is responding and what the work would entail.
Most folk take 1 or 2 weeks off, whilst a few have gone back to work the same day or next day.
Lifting heavy objects is not advisable for the first 2 weeks of surgery. Sounds like you job requires a lot of movement and lifting. I waited until most of my stitches had dissolved before I was active again. You should listen to your body. Try a few things that are required of you, if there's discomfort, your body will tell you.
You can return to work just no heavy lifting for a good few weeks. Yes you will be doing a lot of walking etc to combat this wrap your penis with a fresh bandage twice a day with gauzes use Vaseline. If you feel you are ready to return to work and you don’t wish to wear bandages place some Vaseline on your penis as this will reduce the friction against your underwear. Take it slow and once ready start abs break in your new penis to your underwear as you will have to get your penis used to the rubbing from the underwear. Do make sure you moisturise your glans.
I wish you the very best on your recovery stay safe and well.

Can't say heavy lifting was an issue to me, it's not your balls. Friction was my main problem but that wasn't healing just still oversensitive. It's your dick but I'd be happy to go back wearing tight underwear. Good luck and thanks for keeping us all in food during Covid mate. We need you!
