Hi guys, so i got circumcised about 17 days ago, my stitches all fell off and the doctor said i can start wearing briefs since tomorrow. So I'm wondering when can I start masturbate again and how should I do it ?

You have to be careful with masturbation as the new skin at your scar is fragile. If you cannot wait, use lube and concentrate on the glans and not the shaft. Oh, and take it easy!

Thanks, I guess I'm gonna wait a week more or two

Oh and do you know how to ease the sensitivity ? I feel kinda weird with my glance touching the briefs inside and getting a boner

Hi I had mine done 5 days ago now and I’m recovering fast I think. It was hyper sensitive first few days and now I can walk a lot better with not too much discomfort. Do you know how long into for you until there was no sensitivity at all so that you could easily walk/run wearing jeans or whatever? Thanks

For me it was about 1.5 months until I could walk around with no issues.

Before or after stitches still in?

It was definitely after the stitches fell out, while they were in it was impossible to do anything without the dressing or being totally naked. I had to fly 2 weeks post op and had to pee mid-flight, it was one of the worse decisions I’ve made, since I was still very swollen my stream was basically a sprinkler spraying in each direction, also taking the bandage off and putting it back on in an airplane bathroom was no fun.

I'm walking today in my briefs, kinda akward at first but now I'm kinda okay, minus the sensitivity

Hey wait for at least 1 more week for wound to fully heal.early masturbation can cause delay in wound heling

Okay okay, thanks bro. Umm, another thing is how do you ease the sensitivity of the glans anyway?

Update Day 6: I’ve recovered extremely quickly. After bandage came off day 3 I had a lukewarm bath 45mins. Everyday since I’ve had a bath excepts day 5 where I had a shower without bandage and it worked surprisingly well although still sensitive. I take 3 penicillin tablets a day to stop any infection. I went 2 days using self made bandages with tissue and tape which helps sensitivity but still not fun. Bath each morning to clean it out properly after taking off homemade bandages. Day 5 I left bandage off all day and wore shorts which was okay but still sensitive. To recover ASAP you need to get used to having the head exposed touching off garments and once you understand that it’s mind over matter. Day 6 sensitivity is reducing but I know it will still take some time before I could start

Running and properly exercising again however I walked for an hour with relatively no problems other than a slight discomfort from the stitches being prickly and the sensitivity. Walking in sweat pants is fine now however and I’m back to work tomorrow which I’m feeling a lot better about now than I did 2 days ago or even yesterday. I’ll keep updated as I know if I had this on day 1 it would have saved me a LOT of time. Please feel free to ask me questions anyone getting it done. I’m 20 btw.

I'm about a week and a half in, and starting to wear boxers too. i find ones with a tight fit are better rather than loose to prevent too much friction against the boxer material. I think good to do it sooner rather than later to get the skin used to it and less sensitive.

I’m a week now and it’s progressing really well. Just dying for the dissolvable stitches to well... dissolve. Really want to try running again soon enough but I know it’s not advised to be done this soon so hopefully for when week 2 begins I can give it a go. Wore jeans today in work and it wasn’t an issue.

I'm on day 2, If i try avoiding erections at night by setting an alarm every other hour to wake myself up is that okay? Or should I just let the erections happen. My doc said I could try and avoid them since it won't make a difference for healing if i get erections or not. But i rather ask someone who's been through it already. I still haven't gotten a crazy erections. I don't want to experience erections at all. Help please

When I was on my first day, It didn't go up, but since the second day, it was rather painful. Since I had mine done with help of a machine, so I had a ring on it, seperating my glans, so when I have an erection, it was like someone is choking my dick and at the same time painful. If you're like me, I advise you to bear with it, it will hurt when you have an erection and when that happen, just try to sit, like move your upper body a bit higher, and try doing sth to distract yourself. Mine was saying my prayers, bite my finger to hurt myself.

Yeah unfortunately you kinda just have to accept it. It’s so so shit those first 3 days for erections but it isn’t a problem at all after a while

That‘a great progress, that you’re already back at work and thinking of running again soon. I’m still only able to walk, but each day I can walk further so making progress., and the sensitivity decreases each day too.
