Erections after circumcision.

I was just circumcised four days ago. I don’t have any problems with getting an erection right now and i’m thankful for that.

Question: am i supposed to have erections though? when i feel one coming on all i feel is the shaft below the scar line gets stimulated. not then head. is that normal? do you get nerve damage?

So early in the healing process most guys do not want erections as they pull on the stitches and hurt. You should certainly not do anything with them and should watch out fir any stitch break.

I guess that in many types of surgery, nerve damage (temporary or permanent) is always a risk. You are far too early in the healing period to decide if you have an issue. A lot of possible issues resolve over time.

He may have painful erections but he has not said so!
