Erections after new circumcision

Today I'm 18 days out from my adult circumcision and getting better and slightly more comfortable everyday and finally able to sleep. But erections are still uncomfortable with the skin feeling very tight and stretched, I curl up in the fetal position to help reduce the stretching, I'm afraid to let it fully stretch out. I know I have a long way to go still.I'm wondering if anyone can share how long it took before erections felt normal again? Did anyone else feel a lot of skin stretching and pulling and did it eventually completely stop feeling that way? Any input on your experience is appreciated.

Three to four weeks for me. The dissolvable stitches became loser and loser as the healing commenced. First two weeks the worst for me. Don’t wank or have sex though for the minimum period at least let things settle. Trust me you can make up for the break when healed and first the go was wow after 8 weeks for me. 😜

18 days is still very early in the healing process. Try wearing tight pants to reduce erections. Top tip, any sexy thoughts, put your mind elsewhere.

I also have erections even after circumcision, at night and early in the morning, usually from urinating. Feels tight when erect in the first two to three weeks because there is still a swelling effect, it will return to normal in about seven weeks. To reduce an erection when you want to sleep, drink less water, don't think dirty and be alone, if you get an erection, immediately divert it, you can use cotton buds.

According to my surgeon, erections are part of the healing process inside. So although they were awkward, I just let them happen and found that constriction made them feel worse.If your cut is healed, try massaging in some E45 cream or coconut oil. Will help to put elasticity back in the skin and get rid of the tightness.

The tightness will goes away once you start to use it again. For now leave it, don't disturb.

I’m 18 days since my circumcision as well, and masturbated for the first time today. All stitches have dissolved since few days ago, no swelling besides just at the incision line. Erections were never painful, just a bit uncomfortable first few days. Quite surprised how quickly things have settled considering how it looked and felt first week.
