Circumcision - hard to pee

So, I'm at 6 day and a half.

I have a lot of difficulty to pee. Like I have to really make an effort for like 3-4 minutes for succeeding and I can't pee while I am sitting. I can pee in the shower in like a minute tho, it's way faster...

I can really feel the pain of my swollen penis forcing. And when I pee it like stop and continue two seconds after

Does someone know if that can be because of the swollen penis? My doctor told me to wait until the end of the second week to tell him about it. I'm aware that circumcision can cause an urethra problem, I just want to know if it can be something else... I really don't want another operation.

Did someone went through something like this?

This may very well be due to swelling. If it worsens see your doctor immediately otherwise see him at the end of the 2 weeks. Take care.

I took laxative yesterday night because the Dilaudid made me constipate and after a couple of shit this morning peeing is easier. Still not the way ot used to be, but it way less complicated and time consuming. So it really might be the swelling. Thanks

I had a lot of swelling for about 3 weeks and was peeing like a sprinkler (and sideways) so it can cause a problem. I also had problems actually pushing the pee out as well. If it doesn't clear up in a couple of weeks I would see your doctor.
