Just looking for a bit of advice really. I had a circumcision exactly a week ago today due to a moderately tight foreskin that was causing pain and discomfort.
Since having the op, I'm finding it difficult to urinate properly - I'm having to sit down as it's just spraying everywhere although I am sure this is to do with swelling?
I have also noticed that one side underneath the stiches seems to pull a bit back compared to the other side and as such I seem to be pointing towards the left even when flaccid ; I wasn't like this before.
Is this normal symptoms post op or do I have something to worry about?
Thanks so much!

Yes I sprayed everywhere and had to sit down but it'll come ok again once your penis as recovered from the manhandling. One week is too early to tell what things will look like so maybe wait and see
Heya. One week is early days. I was spraying everywhere at this stage, mate. Sat down to piss for a fair few weeks. Remember, we all heal at different speeds. Don't rush to panic or judge at this early stage. You got this.
yes i’m 2 weeks post circ’ and urinating is still a bit strange I sit down as it goes all over the place if i don’t ! My stitches did pull but a bit and i got blood blisters on part of stitch line which i first thought were pulled stitches but they weren’t.
I’m about 10 weeks post op, I was still urinating sat down upto about week 8, but now I just urinate as normal stood up. It all just takes time man, no stress
Really appreciate your replies guys! I think with suffering from Phimosis for so long I've just panicked myself that things aren't right still haha!
I've got a Variocele Embolisation booked in for next week which has been playing havoc with my testosterone levels so you can imagine it's not been a great time lately!
Mate, I had the worst time, I won’t go into detail because I don’t want to panic you or anything but I was just super unlucky with the recovery. BUT…I got there in the end, don’t let the look of it or anything get to you, it will heal fine I promise you
Others have answered the peeing thing - it'll be fine - but re: the pulling to one side I think you'll find when the stitches come out that will be OK too. Skin is stretchy, stitches aren't. Good luck with that and your balls!
Just thought I'd give a little update on how things are going.
Overall, seems to be healing well.... little bit of scabbing which is to be expected.
On the right side towards the frenulum, it looks like the stitches are falling out but that the skin hasn't properly fused if that makes sense. It's not causing any pain nor is it bleeding at all.
Am I right to assume this is normal and nothing to worry about (I'm a bit of a worrier if you can tell haha!)
Urinating on bath tub worked better for me lol. I had to bend over so the urethra opening points directly to the ground. This will not make the bandages on the penis wet.
Just wanted to give a bit of an update especially for anyone else lurking on here looking for some advice on their op.
Healing seems to be going really well ; few stitches have started to fall out too which is good!
No longer having to use gauze every day and the sensitivity seems to have gotten a bit better too.
The issue I had with my 'fusing' more on the right side seems to also be improving so I guess that was just part of the recovery. Still have a bit of swelling on the back towards the frenulum however no pain from that either.
Erections ;
Still a bit hit and miss and don't feel I'm reaching full potential yet (although with the stitches I wouldn't want to!) Before the circumcision I had more mornings without morning wood although now it's every morning so the tight foreskin obviously had more to do with that than I realised.
Urinating ;
Felt a bit cocky the other day and thought I'd give it a go..... yeah, I'm still sitting down for that for the time being 🤣
Overall, recovery seems to be going in the right direction
Im about 8 erect and i had circumcision where doctor removed inner and outer layer of foreskin so basically it is considered tight i think, because 3 weeks passed and im having morning wood with my erection being only about 5.5 inch maximum... Skin seems so tight i don't know if it will stretch longer.. do u think doctor is gaslighting me that it will stretch giving me my penis size i had before? Or this is what im left with? Can u please share your thoughts.. im so nervous i might have to glue back additional foreskin this is even harder surgery..
I'm around the same time passed as you and I also experience that mate so I think it's just part of the healing process. As much as most of my stitches have fallen out, I still have swelling around my head and frenulum which makes it feel like the skin is pulling when I get an erection.
3 weeks in context of what you have had done is a really short period of time so I'd say - like myself - give it some time to heal fully!
Just wanted to continue my updates again for those going through similar.
All stitches have now gone although the skin where they were is still quite tender. Swelling is beginning to go down too.
The left hand side seems to pull back more than the right side which seems more fused to the head meaning I'm pulling more to the left a little which is noticable when you look at it.
Erections ;
Still not reaching full potential yet as I still have a degree of tenderness and tightness although still continuing to have morning erections every morning compared to before which was more fewer and far between.
Urinating ;
Seen a massive improvement in this and now able to urinate standing up. Still having to find the right place stand to stop it going everywhere however the spraying has stopped.
So, 4 weeks post op and things are definitely recovering very well!
Hope this helps and as always happy to answer any questions anyone may have
