Hi guys, it's the 9th day post circumcision for me. I've read somewhere that first 2 weeks the sensitivity is going to be high and eventually it settles down after that. Is this true?

Post circumcision 9th day. Glan sensitivity would reduce 2nd week onward?
Yes give it time.. I am on day 20 and its still sensitive for me.. Gives some sort of discomfort. Its takes time and patience and also oppose applying anesthetic ointment for sensitivity let it desensitize on its on.. Just apply ointment for your wound and stitches
Thanks bro. Appreciate your kind reply. So for the mean time I can only wear loose fitting pants without underwear when moving around outdoor. Just need to know how to adjust while allowing it to disensitize by itself
Thats fine but if you ask me.. I haven't seen the sunrise.. Sunset.. Neither my pants for the past 20 days haha
The first two weeks are always the worst if your glans is over sensitive to ordinary everyday touch (as when you've had phimosis). It is having regular contact with cloting, etc that enables the glans to lose that over sensitivity, so the more you can let it contact your clothing (and just live through the discomfort) the sooner it will settle. There is no absolute time scale.
Thank you bro. Appreciate your kind reply. I thought I had phimosis and balanitis earlier because of infection. I have never retracted my foreskin before. But doctor checked that my case is just small matter, nothing as serious as phimosis or balanitis. It is just infection. Seeing that I don't have the habit of retracting due to fear of touching the glan, I decided to go for circumcision for an easier care and overcome the sensitivity for once and for all.
