9th day of zsr circumcision

I am on 9th day of curcumcision and my front part of the penis looks good but i have applied a lot of ointment twice every day but i am afraid did it popped my stitch at the back but its not loose i have checked have attached the pic could any one please suggest. I have also applied anti infection lotion .

MrMac99 please suggest is all ok with the back the white part i guess it cotton which got stucked. I have done dressing with cotton .

Hey Man, you should have it checked with your doctor in case of infection you have popped some stitches there. it will heal ok with secondary wound healing but it will take longer though. I would wash with salted water and when you apply dressing use some non adhering dressing so it won't stick to your wound. You should definitely have it checked

No not necessarily but I would have it checked in case there is any infection you may need to be on antibiotics as a precaution. secondary wound healing does heal that way with white yellowish colour it's your skin reforming and filling in the gap between the wounds. I would get it checked

I am taking antibiotic twice daily with pain killer.

yes i thought the same after i popped few stitches at the back . I am afraid if the doctor will ask me to get the stitches done again at that place 😔

That's good you're on antibiotics I would still go to the doctor they won't restitch it, it will have to heal on its own. I'm not familiar with the zsr circumcision but is there a ring that needs to be removed or does it dissolve on its own?

My Doctor said the ring eill fall off automatically after 12 to 18 days. Am on 9th day now

Stop panicking please , go for peace of mind to the doc , but that ring must stay in place until it falls on it's own , the ring does the actual circumcision , so wait for the required time for the ring to fall on it's own .

If doc thinks it's infected he will prescribe you a 7 day course of antibiotics , like amoxicilin for ex .
