Hi, I am 71 y/o and my foreskin is tightening to the point that it is difficult to retract for daily cleaning. The very tip has become leathery and does not stretch like it used to. Is there a cream or ointment that will soften the foreskin and make it more pliable? Thanks.

In Japan, an estrogen cream has been used successfully on boys with tight foreskins. Ask your doctor about it. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi...
Corticosteroid creams, such as Betamethasone 0.05% or clobetasol 0.05%, are also commonly used in conjunction with regular, gentle stretching. These would be available on prescription from your GP or from an online pharmacy where they are regularly prescribed for the treatment of psoriasis or eczema.
Coconut oil helps me (I’m 70 years old and have noticed my skin getting gradually drier, less oily and can show slight cracks when forced. ) I buy it cheaply at the pharmacy. Can be fairly solid but goes to liquid when warm. I rub it in night and morning.
I used Mupirocin (ointment) which is Bactroban that helped me retract the skin and cure it. I would wash with a q-tip and apply plenty of water to remove the soap, then I would apply the ointment with a q-tip as well. In a few days you’ll se results then once you can retract the skin keep applying it as directed. If you’re diabetic make sure your glucose is under control because that will also cause balanitis to flare up.
