The more your glans gets to be in contact with clothing, your hand, etc the faster your brain can 'tune out' the over sensitivity to everyday touch, so you just have to work through any discomfort and let it contact your clothing as much as possible.

Everyone is different in how fast they lose that over sensitivity and those who had phimosis are likely to take somewhat longer as the glans had never been exposed before. However, for most folk it seems that about 2 weeks after all bandages have been removed is average.

"2 weeks after all bandages have been removed is average" really?!! I got circumcised 4 weeks ago and for 4 weeks, I wore clothes only for about 4-5 hours, and for around 650 hours, I kept my penis exposed to air... But still, it's extremely sensitive... And whenever I go outside I keep my hands in the pocket... It's very difficult for me to wear clothes... I had phimosis and the glans of my penis wasn't exposed for 16 years... I try to wear clothes but it's extremely painful, and it hurts even with the slightest touch of the cloth... Please suggest me a technique to wear clothes because I don't want to keep my hands in the pocket...

As previously said, the glans needs contact with clothing, etc in order to adjust. Keeping it away from clothing simply delays the adjustment, as you are finding.

So, how is the sensitivity so far? Already settled down?
