Soothing swelling after circumcision

I was circumcised 9days ago and the skin below my glands/top of shaft is still quite swollen and a little bit sore at times. Any methods of easing this swelling ?

The swelling dissipate over time. You cannot expect full healing in 9 days.

Indeed. All post-surgical situations are the same - wherever they are. Keep it clean and give it time.

Hi hope everything is going well down there. You could maybe try putting ice on it to reduce swelling or you could go and ask your doctor and see if you could get some numbing cream to stop it from irritating you. Hope this helps.

Okay I’ll try an ice cold press see if that helps and the soreness beginning to die down thankfully. And thanks for the help 👍🏽

Good tip but don't put ice directly on wound, use cloth or something.
