Post circumcision Hypersensitivity Tips!

Are there any tips for dealing with post circumcision sensitivity. I currently have post circumcision hypersensitivity for about 8 months now. I can assume this recovery process is taking longer than it should because I had to wear manhoods (manhoodcanada.com/) after surgery, because of my severe phimosis and any contact after surgery would cause excruciating pain. I no longer wear them because the sensitivity has gone down slightly over time. Are there any oils/creams or suggested boxers i should wear and apply to the area and will masturbating slow down the healing time?

When going to school or work wear snug fitting briefs to reduce the rubbing and erections.

The rest of the time stay naked to let the air help dry the glans.

If you can't stay naked wear boxers or go commando.

The rubbing will help get you used to the sensitivity, thus lessening it.

Like baptism by fire. Do what makes it irritated.

Eventually it will subside.

Good luck to you as it won't be fast.

You keep all glans dry. That's important. Your brain must learn 2 new state. Glans dry = penis in underwear; ignore glans signal. Glans moist = penis in vagina; receive all glans signal. That the brain must learn! The fastest is dry glans to often rub on underwear. It is very annoying, but the brain learns faster (around 3 weeks). Tight underwear and protected glans, the brain learns slowly - 8 months or more :-(

Sleep naked (from waist down). This also speeds up sensitivity normalization.

Thanks for the tips. Could you give me an idea of what the glans should feel like when the hypersensitivity is gone?

1st phase glans very unpleasant. 2nd phase unpleasant with only some underwear. 3. phase in soft underwear feels glans pleasant while rubbing. T his phase about a year. Phase 4 you feel your glans similar to your facial skin sensitivity. Then it still remains. Moist glans are much more sensitive than dry. If more unscrupulous treatment in phase 1., the shorter this phase is. I was stupid and wore tight underwear, and glans annoying 3 months. My friend's father hid everything tight underwear. He have only loose underwear canvas. He was raging, but he normalized the sensitivity of the glans within 3-4 weeks.

I'd agree pretty much I had it done at 20 and it took at least a year for the glans to properly dry out and not be so sensitive.

It took a lot of getting used to I'll be honest as they removed a lot of foreskin in my operation, (90%) as well as all of my frenulum. If I could go back I would probably get a lot less skin removed and leave the frenulum intact as it was really sensitive. But for several reasons I chose to get all of it cut off so its too late now I've got to live with it! I'm used to the sensation after a few years although it was a shock at first. I wasn't really prepared for how desensitised and different it would be and I didn't really think the whole drying out process through. Overall sensitivity is lessened but sex is still good just lube is definitely needed you'll find as the head dries out and theres no skin to move. I'm glad i had it done just wasn't really prepared for how it would turn out. Good luck and feel free to ask any questions.

I second this, very good advice.

Also never masturbate dry, so that your brain only processes and responds to your glans being moist.

Heck my girl likes I occasionally go commando in jeans now no problem and sex is just as good.

Will masturbation with lube on the glans slow down the desensitization process?

Also is there a change in colour/texture i should be looking for when its desensitizing?
