Stitches Not Coming Out After Circumcision

Hi, I was circumcised on the 9th of September which was 3 weeks ago today, and some of the stitches are still in. Is this normal? And also, how do you resist to masturbate?

It's ok .they will fall off till 30 days.my stitches fall of till 28 days except one.doctor remove it himself.no pain happen during removing it

Yeap . Completely normal. It would be best to get it removed in a clinic obviously but I wouldn't worry that much. Beyond 4 weeks it's best to get it removed through. Bathing twice a day kinda helped me out with this. All the best !

Cut them out or go to the gp and get the nurse to cut them out

Stitches usually do their job in 10-12 days. Some may dissolve earlier than that and some may stay for a month or more unless removed. It is a good idea to remove any stitches after 14 days to both reduce swelling and prevent stitch tunnels from forming.

Resisting masturbation simply needs will power!

It’s now week 4. They are not attached still, they are just there..I went to my urologist 4days ago he said they would fall off as the healing gets better

Ok. I’m on day 22 and in the last day they untied and fell off all but one. I’m sure they all fall out at different times.

Okay thank you. I am 23 days after surgery and the day after I made this post the rest of mine came out lol.

yes my stiches were in ill the end of the 5th week.. It depends on the person really.
