2 days after adult circumcision. Dry blood sticking penis to underpants. told not to wash penis initially, should i do it now?

Also a little vein is left on the left, like a cut vein. is this normal. it looks like a little horn on my penis.will this fall off...

Once the initial bandage has been removed you can gently wash your penis with plain or salt water to remove blood clots, but don't be rough with them.

Putting a fresh bandage or gauze on the wound will prevent it sticking to underwear.

Many small blood vessels are cut during circumcision and are cauterised or tied off. You have nothing to worry about.

the bandage fell off the first morning yesterday. I did wash it wth cold water but only briefly. thick bits of blood still around the penis. i' almost afraid not to wash too much off, if that makes sense.

Blood clots are a way for the body to protect wounds. There is no need to go overboard to get rid of them.

Try to give it as much air as possible. I spent days lying naked and healed very quickly.

I wouldn't allow your bare penis to touch underpants at this early stage. If you have to wear underpants then apply vaseline to penis and inside of gauze.

Those blood clots are totally normal and will be there for a while. They'll fall out naturally in their own time.

strange qeustion to ask, but keep having feelings of water wen using vaesline on my penis with the gauze. i did think maybe it was ejaculate in the mistaken belief that the vaseline was lube, but this is ludicrous, right

I took short baths in warm salt water from day two. Just a quick soak and air or gently pat dry. Do not rub in any way. Vaseline may help to reduce sticking. I found a melonin type gauze helped, it is shiny on one side so does not stick, this with tight underwear helped to keep it still.

Naked under a soft dressing gown was the order of the day when at home.
