I had very minor webbing prior to the procedure (about 1/4 the shaft), which didn't bother me much. Never impacted quality of life or sex. However, it's now a lot more visible almost around 40% up the shaft. I'm close to 5 weeks post circ (next Tuesday officially), so not sure if it's just due to the scar and will stretch back out over time as the scar heals? That's the hope anyway. Can't imagine having to go in for another procedure to get it fixed. I haven't had sex since the procedure, so the only worry is that it's going to degrade the experience for both of us.
I'm going in for a follow-up appointment here in a few weeks where I plan on bringing this up to my urologist. However, wanted to get some input from the community here to see if anybody else has ever had it and what your experience has been.
Same issue. Thinking about getting it fixed. Had zero issues before surgery but I'm a grower and it seems my doctor didn't take that into account. Don't know why they don't measure beforehand.
At 5 weeks after circumcision there will still be very considerable swelling which can make a web look larger. You need to wait the full 8 weeks before making any judgement.
Makes sense. Fortunately the next appointment is at 8 weeks. The swelling is gone for the most part, but can definitely understand it from the point that my skin more than likely hasn't regained its elasticity yet. Looks worse now than it actually is. We'll see when I get a bit closer to that date. I appreciate it!
If you do still have a significant web that needs attention, you should be aware that a second surgery in the same general area should not take place until 6 months after the first (unless medically urgent or essential), so realistically you are looking at next summer for getting any web revision done and a lot can change in that time.
