2 weeks post-circumcision for mild phimosis

Hi everyone,

I'm 21 years old and two weeks post-circumcision to treat mild phimosis. From day one I've had no pain. As I've seen from reading a few threads, I experienced the same HYPER-SENSITIVITY (that is no joke, it was hell) as most others have.. However, mine has basically gone away now. I still have most of the stitches but they look like they're maybe starting to dissolve now. I decided to write on here because if I can help ease the worries of a single bloke going through the same procedure, I am really happy to help. I had a heap of worries about how it would turn out in all aspects, but I'm feeling pretty positive about it now. I've had no physical side effects as of yet (touch wood), but I'm definitely struggling with the no sex for six weeks. Overall it has been pain-free, just minor discomfort when I get erections. Thanks to this page for existing, it definitely helped me and I'm sure it will help a lot more guys.

Hi Man, good to hear you are getting on well. I'd say you are over the worst of it now just getting the stitches out now and it will improve a lot more.

This forum is a very good source of information it can really help other guys dealing with a problem. Just giving some reassurance can really help. it can be a very worrying time when there is something you're not sure about so a comment or a post from someone like yourself willing to share their experience can really help.

I’m hoping so too! And I completely agree, always good to have a place to come to that reserves judgement in situations as delicate as these. Cheers!

Really pleased to hear this, and thank you for sharing. A lot of people are understandably worried about circumcision as some people have a difficult recovery. But it’s good for people to know that it’s often absolutely fine. I was lucky with my (second) circumcision and I’m glad you’ve been with yours. I hope you enjoy being circumcised - I do.
