Question about post circumcision

So I got circumcised just over 2 weeks ago (I’m 19, and just felt it was the right decision for me), and my penis is smaller than usual, both when erect and when flaccid. Is this normal to happen after a circumcision? I’ll get my penis size back, right? I tried getting an erection tonight and it was about half it’s normal size. Unfortunately with how un-normalized this is, it’s hard to find much about this type of thing. Thanks for the help!

Don't worry or think too much about size now. It's now under healing process, let it do it's work. Your job is it take care of it as per the doctors instructions. Don't think about anything for the 3-4 weeks. It will be fine once it heals fully. And try not to get Erection as stiches wil make it painful.

Okay! Thank you. My stitches are all the way gone (I’m pretty sure). I had the kind the like dissolve. But erections are still somewhat painful- so hopefully like you said after it’s healed it will be back to normal.

Let it heal first! You really need to focus on something else next 4-6 weeks post-op until the incision line is healed. The surface of the wound will heal first, but it takes way more than 2 weeks in deeper tissue level. The scar itself will develop next 18-24 months.

When the incision line is healed and dry you may start to use moisturizer on it at least next 6 months or rest of your life cycle here on earth.

It’s normal to have worries after getting circumcised as an adult. You will be fine. Many of us have gone through this but IT TAKES TIME for everything to look good.

Okay so I’m going to reply to this again- I called my doctor and he scheduled an appt saying that it isn’t normal, and shouldn’t be that way? Like. My flaccid penis is fine, almost the same length (maybe even a little more girth), but when erect my penis is about half of what it was before? But like. When I called they were concerned almost. I told them that I was reading forums and that other guys had said the same happened to them, but wouldn’t doctors know about it if it were normal? Sorry I’m just freaking out a tad. Seeing the doc in 4 days.

You should definitely still see the doctor to put yourself at ease. But I remember telling my doctor about the same thing and seeing him in office and he seemed like he never heard about this issue either. He did say to give it time and let it heal completely.

I had lost about half my size during the first few weeks of healing but once the swelling reduced and I healed better I did get back to my normal size. From my personal experience everything went back to its normal size a few weeks later. But we’re also not medically trained here.

A couple week is too early to check your size.

Are there still swellings?

Allow it to heal for 6 weeks.

There is no thing as reduction is size unless you have been ridiculously tightly circumcised.

I legit am at 2 months now. Not back to normal. No swelling. I’m 99% healed. It healed crazy well. But I’m still not even close to my normal size

I got mine 3 days ago and scared to even look at it. Wondering if I made the right choice. I did suffer from phimosis and regular balantais. My doctor recommended this as my only option but looking at my penis now I feel horrible. I wasn’t really big before circumcision and now I feel I have lost what little I even had
