I am concerned about post circumcision scar tissue?

3.5 weeks post circumcision. My penis still feels swollen. I am concerned about the scar tissue underneath the meatus. It seems like when I am erect, I have less pain then before (thank god), but still is very uncomfortable specifically in regards to the scar tissue which I think is making things uncomfortable. I feel like I am also gaining like 1 inch max on erection. That can't be normal. I gained almost 2 beforehand. Is it possible to lose length right after circumsion. I imagine the penis is sort of shock or what not.

the doc at at my 2 week follow up, said to just keep washing with water and soap so I didn't want to unnecessary do anything.

I am having the same exact issue. I’m 4 weeks post opp. I seen my Dr yesterday and he said all looks good and with time the scar tissue should start to soften up. I let him know i felt that it wasn’t extending as it used to and he said to give it time. He gave me clearance to go back to using it as i would. Not sure if anyone could shed some light who has had a similar experience.

Thanks man. Yeah it's just all stumped down. Weirdly when I'm flaccid it seems longer sometimes. When I get hard, idk it becomes inflexible.

The hard scar did go away for me. Initially I did lose about half inch length but back to original size about 4 months in

Yeah. So I'm a weird case. I had a frenulextomy 4 weeks prior and now there's all these scars that when I'm erect start burning up. I'm concerned it's making the penis skin tight which I dont want. I had phimosis so it feels like another version of it.

I think I masturbated 4 and half weeks in and had oral sex. 5 weeks I had sex carefully

UsE the bio oil for the scar daily. It will help with keeping the skin flexible. The first few days the skin felt like it was pulling from my pubic area. I have a picture posted of it. But your body will adapt. Give it time.

I tried to take care of my scar the best I could at home but I did go back to the dick doc a few times to have the scar "shaved" basically he just trimmed all the little uneven parts. I have a few pictures posted of the scar. It will never be completely invisible but I think it came out good.

You said earlier that your doctor shaved the scar to flatten it, could you expand on this? My scar is raised and I don't know why. I'm guessing the stitches were put in place too tight causing the skin to heal upwards?

Basically the numbed it with local and he used what looked like small scissors to trim the raised parts of the scar. I think the end result came out well.

Man good to know, i thought i was the only who felt like they lost length. I feel as if the hard scarring is not allowing it to fully extend. I’m on month in.

Yeah same with you brother. It felt like the foreskin when rolled back which was very painful hence why i got surgery helped extend the penis at least a quarter to half inch. Now it feels like penis is nist stumped. It's also weirdly swollen so when I'm running its concerning cause it's so sensitive.

No running till penis is at least "6-7wks" in.!!!

Till then is only fast walking speed

Remember that a teen or adult circumcision takes 6-8 weeks to heal, so you are only about half way into your healing.

Expect a lot of positive changes over the next few weeks as healing completes and swelling fully subsides.

My cut looks basically the same at 2 months as it does now 6 months in. I was hoping that it would improve but it hasn't.
