Sleeping positions / fainting after circumcision?

I just got my circumcision today (about 12 hours ago) and I’ve been napping on my back with my penis hanging down towards my feet. I’ve read it’s good to place it upwards and hold it with your underwear to avoid bleeding / discharge. Will my penis hurt when it’s placed on my stomach? Does anyone recommend sleeping on my side? Like I said it’s my first day so it’s extremely sensitive and bleeds (I think it’s blood) a bit with even the slightest movements.

I’ve also fainted twice today. Once when I was getting out of the car right after the procedure, and again when I went to pee a few hours afterwords. I blacked out for probably a good 2 minutes and my body temperature rose with a snap of a finger. I was sweating so much while sitting on the toilet and felt extremely weak and lightheaded. Is this normal?

It should still be wrapped in gauze? Don't sleep on your stomach but you're in for a few disturbed nights anyway I'm afraid. Hope it goes well.

Yeah it is wrapped. I’m just gonna continue sleeping on my back for now

Blackouts should always be investigated. Have you spoken to a doctor?

I called my doctor and left a message. Waiting for them to call back. Since my initial post I fainted 1 more time (a total of 3 times, out of the 3 times I got up). I’ve been laying down and haven't gotten up since

Have you drink and eat enough after op? Do you have low blood pressure normally?

It is indeed recommended that you wear close fitting briefs for at least 2 weeks, with your penis pointing upwards to allow excess lymph to drain away and to stop it banging about s it would in loose boxers.

Sleeping on your side with knees drawn up can take pressure off the penis and allow a better night's sleep.

I slept comfortably with no underwear on my couch last night to avoid moving too much. I only own and use loosely fitting boxers, but I’m not moving around unless I need to use the restroom, so it’s not flopping around a lot. I will try sleeping on my side tonight and see if it’s more comfortable!
