hey im day 5 into my post op and i have been dressing my penis with a bandage with vaseline on it, as it is painful to have touching underwear, i was just wondering if this is bad or stops the healing process to have it wrapped in bandage

I wrapped mine for total about 2 weeks. I had to do that because the wound was showing signs of infection. I bandaged penis shaft wrapping wound tightly, but left the glans free. It definitely helped my healing down there and I didn't have to worry about full erection tearing wound.

So, it shouldn't be a problem if you bandage your penis. the vaseline will prevent bandage from sticking to wound, I think you are doing it right. You need to change it daily though.

yeah i change it twice a day
