I have a small, painless, blister-like bubble on the corona of my penis underneath the foreskin (not circumcised) There is no smell or excretion. When flaccid, it is hardly visible. When erect, it is much more pronounced and can become slightly sensitive, especially without lubrication. What is it?

Herpes?
I was thinking maybe but I thought herpes looked a little different. I don't think there is pus underneath. Feels more like an enlarged vein.
I think those form horizontally and in rows...looking more like little pimples but I appreciate your input. Thanks.
This was my next step, since it has not burst on its own...which is why I don't think it's herpes because those burst and become sores right? Plus they itch and are irritable? But I was going to go to a doctor first before I took that step.
Hi Man, not sure what that could be possibly pearly penile, you have some to the left on your photo maybe fordyce spots how long have you had it. If it worries you best thing would be to have it checked.
And just wondering is your frenulum a little bit tight it looks to be pulling down on your glans.
It's been there a couple weeks and that tightness may be because I am holding my foreskin back/taut. Will be going to the doctor in a week. Thanks for your suggestions Mac.
I was thinking it could be an adhesion, but definitely see a doctor for confirmation to make sure it is nothing serious.
What is adhesion?
Oh you know what? After a brief search I bet it's a skin bridge/adhesion.
Yea, I think it’s a skin bridge. I have something similar too. Both circumcised and uncircumcised men can get them
I think a skin bridge is more intense than this but it's definitely got to be an adhesion of some kind.
It depends how long you’ve had it for. If it’s a recent incident then it’s an adhesion whereas if you’ve had it for a long time then it is a skin bridge. Do you know how long you had it for? Adhesions can be broken without going to a doctor whereas a skin bridge is a more permanent structure, but should be fixed by a doctor. To me, it looks like an adhesion.
I'm now noticing that is travelling (still thin, vein-like) upward on the tip of my penis...maybe a clogged gland or vein? And it is only ever present when I am erect. I really don't know...just hope it's not cancer :/
Would someone please advise on this? Seems like dozens of us have this question.
For those of you who got this checked out please post helpful advice on updates.
For me, I have gotten this checked out and said it's not an STD/STI. It's "normal" however I am still paranoid after checking this out with more than 1 doctor.

Everything I've seen about herpes makes me think this isn't it...it sounds like the right diagnosis based on many things but this blister is just a standalone and herpes appears in a cluster like cauliflower right? Also there is really no itching or sores there...it's just benign.
Don't have any as I am on vacation but I will be going to the doctor very soon, I can ask for them to do it for me? If I had a clean needle I'd be tempted but honestly I feel like consulting a doctor before acting is the best call.
Oh shit I'm in Greece too, do you know a good doctor to see about it in Athens?
Thanks, my girlfriend said she would take me...she gets here in a week (she is greek). I'm thinking about going somewhere to find a needle (sewing etc) so that I can puncture the blister with a tiny hole to see if that makes it go away but I might just wait for my girlfriend to get here and line it up with her period so it has time to heal and neither of us have to withhold from sex while the other can engage in activity. I appreciate you taking the time to help me!
“It’s just a blister”
Thanks User, really appreciate that input. For anyone who might have something more supplemental to add, it is still painless and travels vertically not circumferentially (if that's a word) which does not match the description of "lymphangiosclerosis" and others like it. Maybe mondor's disease? But that is rare, I don't know. Will see a doctor soon. All other symptoms remain the same except that when erect I can see a path that this "vein" might follow north(ish).
In all seriousness, what you have there seems and sounds unusual and you’re taking the best course of action which is to see a Doctor. A sexual health clinic may be even better as it’s their specialty.
If it were me I’d be reluctant to prick it with a needle for fear of;
1. It multiplying or spreading.
2. How popped blisters can become infected, how the layer of skin on a blister can tear and/or go dry.
3. Bleeding - you’ve mentioned ‘vein’ more than once so that implies a risk of serious bleeding.
Good luck with it.
Yea I have no intention of pricking it with a needle based on how tough it is. I'm going to stop handling it now too but the closest thing I can find is possibly the inflammation of a superficial dorsal vein...Should probably see a penis expert on the matter too. Maybe it's just a clog or I ruptured something. Just hope it's not serious. Thanks for the luck.
The closest thing I can find on my own before the doctor is penile lichen planus.

Hi Justin,
I have been experiencing the same issue for approximately two years. I have visited two GP's, but unfortunately have been unable to receive a substantive diagnosis.
Could you please provide an update as to whether you received a diagnosis?
I would really appreciate it if you would reply.
Kind regards,
Steve
Hello Justin,
I have been experiencing the same issue for months now. Have you already checked it with a doctor? What’s your diagnosis?
Thanks man

Bumping this thread to see if anyone got any helpful answers.
I have been experiencing something similar and have head it for years. I had a doctor inform years ago they were air pockets, but they are like white bubbled bumps underneath the base of the penis head. Wondering if anyone had any more insight to this thread
Is it gone now? How much time will it take to disappear
I still have it. I was not given any time frame. The doctor told me years ago they were just air pockets..they have remained the same size but still here. First noticed them around the age of 12. I was trying to do some online researching and recently just bought some cream to try called Wonder Balm. Going to try applying twice a day once it delivers there. Hoping this helps or has some positive effect as I really want them to go away (without having to take a route of having to get then surgically removed or something along that line.)
Its better now. All those who want an answer it is normal. Just don't worry
I have the same problem and I have looked everwhere for a diagnosis and cant find anything similar to it. Does anyone have a clue yet?
I have the same issue, noticed it about a month ago and have been following this thread to see if anyone had answers.
Went to the sexual health clinic to see a doctor for answers. Apparently what I have is penile varicose veins, and nothing can be really done. Not harmful, not contagious, just not aesthetically pleasing. Maybe plastic surgery is an option, but for the cost and possible complications, not worth it in my opinion (and the doctors).
Note that mine is not painful and doesn’t bug me.
Hope this helps
Hello, did you ever find out what it was? I got the same thing on the same exact spot. But when I am erect it is gone. I suffered from recurring balinitis for like 2 or 3 months. Kept putting lotrimin. This last time I noticed this same bump as I was putting on the lotrimin. The balinitis is gone but this is bothering me now.
Please help I'm having the same it's really embarassing I'm 21 yo virgin
What I have is an issue with fordyce spots. It seemed insanely pricey to try to have removed unfortunately. But after searching online, I ended up ordering a PPPkit online through the website. It looks like it can be scary, but it definitely worked for me. Inwas able to pretty much rid the spots after using the kit forna few rounds. It was absolutely worth it. I'm not as self conscious about it anymore after all this time.
