Unhappy With Circumcision.
Yes, and mine was for the same reason too
Is there anything that can be done to help you in your situation ?
A good friend of mine was circumcised as a 3 month old baby because of severe and painful phimosis. This was done in a hospital pre-NHS.
He is unhappy (but not too greatly so) because he would have preferred it to be cut lower and tighter with the frenulum fully removed. He considered having a revision when in his late 30s, but the only doctor he knew would do it died before he could get it done. By the time he got to know of another circumciser, he felt it was too late in life to be worthwhile and has reasonably happily lived with it for many years now.
I'm very unhappy with mine because the doctor messed up and removed too much skin. Would I've been happier with a high and tight? I don't know and can never know but most likely.
I'm in the same boat here as I'm not sure if they took to much or too little away but all i know is that I'm now hung and erect less than a hamster 😭
If you feel a mistake has been made you can register a formal complaint through PALS of the NHS Trust in whose hospital you had your operation. It may be, however, that your issue is just one of the possible risks of that surgery.
I was circumcised about about 6 weeks ago on the NHS to get rid of BXO and a pre-cancerous legion on the head. I've just started to experiment with how it feels. It is completely different sensation-wise - basically there isn't any. The cut was very low, firly loose and frem removed.
I'm I unhappy with the loss of sensation? Yes. Am I unhappy with service I received from the NHS? No.
If I had the choice I would have gone for high and tight. Because the BXO had infected the foreskin to the point were going for a pee was painful let alone sex, they had to remove it, and the frem too. The foreskin is where the nerve endings are, so it was always going to loose sensation.
The guy in the bed next to me was having the whole head of his penis removed. (I don't know the detail of why)
The surgery was one of the last before the hospital closed it's doors due to CV19.
Have i lost length? Not a clue. Never found that to matter much. Haven't been able to have sex for months due to the pain so I'm just looking forward to that.
Yes it will be different, really different. But I count myself very lucky compared to the position I could have been in, and determined to make the best of what I have. What it has given me - the ability to have a fulfilling sex life - is so much better that what I had.
Maybe you could try focusing on the positives?
