18 months after circumcision

I’d admit the reason for mine was mostly cosmetic but just wondered how guys that had it for similar reasons found it after? I did have some doubts after though now I prefer it overall.

Ohh cool, yeah it’s good. It looks nicer than it did before and definitely last alot longer than before. But I’d say only have it done if you’re sure about loosing the sensitivity of the foreskin

It’s hard to say really tho the head isn’t very sensitive now. All I’d say is ending up with a high cut even tight means more inner skin is more sensitive

You have a very good outcome. I got circumcised @Luton back in 2004...time has flown. I did it mostly for cosmetic and hygiene reasons. No regrets!

Wow looks like the doctor did some perfect work for you. Love the skin color difference looks cool. Wished I could have chosen a high and tight like yours, mine is low and tight cause had to revise the poor job my first circ turned out to be it was mid and very loose. I hated it. Love my tighter revision. Your lucky! Nice penis ; )

Are you happy with the low and tight cut? I was circumcised a month ago and I think I have the same style. Refer to my first post. I love how it looks, but haven't managed to use it yet as I'm still waiting for the end of the 6-week recovery stage. Just wondering about sensitivity with regards to erections, masturbation and sex?

I'm cut low and tight and the majority with a low and tight seem to say they do lose a lot of sensitivity. I certainly have. Sex used to be 10/10 and now it's a 3/10. It's really frustrating but we're all different. Let us know how yours turned out.

I've since read your posts and I'm sorry that you're not happy with your circumcision style ... having looked at your photos, personally I think your cut penis looks very nice!!! At the moment, mine looks very similar, which I'm happy about ... I seem to prefer the 'low and tight' look, as opposed to 'high and tight', but that's just my personal preference.

I haven't had sex yet (still in the six week recovery period), but the other day I masturbated for the first time in the shower and the experience was simply amazing!!! When wanking, I mostly stimulate my glans and frenulum (I still have mine) and not so much the inner foreskin area. Although, it took me longer to cum, my orgasm was mind-blowing and explosive, which I absolutely loved!!!

I am hoping that things will get better for you over time!!! I love being circumcised and I certainly wouldn't want to go back to having a foreskin ... but again, that's my choice. Good luck to you going forward.

Did they save all of your frenelum despite your low cut? I talked to my doctor later and according to him it's not possible. But I'm guessing they just cut a v-shape for you? My doctor was young and inexperienced despite being promised everyone knows exactly what they are doing.

My entire frenulum is intact. Beforehand, my doctor told me that he doesn't believe in removing the frenulum, which he didn't. I didn't really have an opinion on the matter, but I'm glad he kept it for me 'cos it's now extra sensitive after my circumcision, which makes masturbation great!!!

Yes ... he did a v-shape cut underneath, but the v-shape is hardly noticeable (looks more straight, in line with the rest of the cut) 'cos my glans is quite pronounced.

I understand. This is what I thought my doctor would do as he told me it's best to save the frenelum but still they cut half of it off and just reattached it and I have no feeling there now.

Sorry to hear this, CuriousQ. As previously mentioned, hopefully your situation will improve over time.

Perhaps you could consider foreskin, or frenulum restoration as an option going forward.

How much sensitivity did you lose? You're happy because you last longer, but lasting longer means you feel less, am I right? It's a trade off you personally feel was worth it? Do you still have your frenelum? Any other changes in regards to your sex life after the circumcision?

A few months until it was like 100% recovered. Probably like a few weeks until the swelling was down and sensitivity/soreness was gone
