Almost 3 Months After Circumcision (still unhappy)

Hey guys its almost week 12 but my dick still seems to be swollen when its soft having a pinkish ring right below the head. its definitely smaller than before but still very ugly. when i do get hard it looks better but the coloring compared to the shaft is so much different in shade.

1. Is it normal for my dick to heal at such a slow rate? ( in terms of small ring like swelling)

2. Any tips to help blend the color or shaft and above the scarline together?

Thanks so much man the difference in color is kinda tough go explain. its pinkish from like the tip down to the scarline and then much darker below that.

That is absolutely what one would expect from a 'high' cut. The pinkish area is what had been the inner layer of your foreskin. Then there will be the scar line and behind that the darker skin is your shaft skin and/or any remaining outer foreskin.

Yes, at least at your current time after the circumcision.

The former inner foreskin is a different type of skin called mucous membrane. This is very thin and very susceptable to any form of trauma. It always swells up more than elsewhere if retained in a circumcision - which is one reason why a 'low' cut seems to heal faster than a 'high' one.

should i avoid masturbation or sex for longer then?

It is usually recommended that you abstain form all forms of sex until fully healed (usually 6-8 weeks), but it is frequently ok to gently masturbate after 4 weeks, provided you stop at once if it starts to hurt in any way.

You can try GENTLE masturbation now and, if that's ok then intercourse should also be ok, but use a condom for another few weeks to protect the new skin and swollen parts.

yeah im definitely willing to stop masturbation or sex if it means my inner skin would heal faster

You may also want to consult your doctor because I'd really have expected full healing after 8 weeks and not significant swelling at 12 weeks.

I have the same thing as you, its perfectly normal. How's the sensitivity? Is your penis still slightly sensitive to the touch?

I feel like if i press down on the inner layer of my foreskin it still is very sensitive. also when i pull back the ring swellin when im soft its sensitive as well

It's been 76 days since my circumcision, but my glans are still very sensitive, I can't wear clothes without underwear (It is extremely painful)... If I wear underwear, I can only wear it for around 2-3 hours... You posted this 4 months ago, is it still very sensitive or is it normal?? And what about the swelling??
