Post circumcision questions/doubts i have

Hey guys.

Its been a month & only stitches have fallen off. Still 4 stitches are remaining & they are quite loose from past 2weks. But they are not falling off. On internet i can see stitches falling off within 3months. My doctor said that i should wait until it falls itself(said 2 weeks post circumcision). Some times stitches irritates when im walking due to rubbing.

Also rarely i can see yellowish liquid from the wound. Though it has reduced compared to 2weeks earlier. Im applying mupimet ointment on the wounds since circumcision as suggested by my doctor. Hairs around the penis is very less but irritates when they touch wounds.

Any suggestions for my above suggestions is welcomed.

I think doctors/surgeons tend to underestimate how long stitches take to dissolve. I'd give them another week - mine took five weeks to complete. Meanwhile it should be OK to trim them with small scissors if they're irritating and if that helps?
