Is this normal or should I be worried?

Hey everyone! First of all I hope everyone is doing good! I had Circumcision 11 days ago and the swelling has gone down and I recently started wearing underwear with the only problem being some stitches poking out on one side and causing some pain but they look kinda loose so they should be falling off.

As I took a shower I try pulling the foreskin a bit back to wash thoroughly and the area you see in the picture is where the stitches have fallen off but the skin underneath the foreskin is looking very weird to me as the flesh is kind of round and as you see formed weird shapes (bumps) on top of each other with layers. I don’t know how to describe it. Look at the red arrows. Is that normal or is that an indication of the stitches falling off before doing their job? The first one fell off day 7. I have a follow up on Wednesday so should I ask for that? Thank you for your time!!!! Y’all the best

Im pretty sure those bumps are normal, after the stitches fall of you can hydrated and massage the área, they should start to smooth out

As you have a follow-up soon, that is the place to ask the questions you need answering. An examination will get you the answers.

Hi that's normal to have those bumps they should reduced in time use some coconut oil or bio oil once the stitches are gone massaging the oil in to soften the scar in time. You should ask your doctor on Wednesday any questions you have maybe see if they will move the remaining stitches.

Mine looked very like yours too. I was very worried about it but once the wound started to heal the bumps settled down. Ask at your consultation anyway. My scar line is really close to the head just like yours. Good luck with it all.

I’m thinking there’s nothing wrong. The healing circumcision scar does look kinda nasty at times, but it WILL get better. Don’t be ashamed to bring your concerns to the attention of your doctor.
