Erection troubles

I am 42 years old and had erection issues most of my adult life. I have an above average size penis and goes to waste. I can function sexually more often than not but it's not what it should be and never has been. I'd say 1/3 of the time is no sexual function at all.

I currently use Cialis 5mg daily. Started off pretty well but more recently has become less effective. I have used other ed meds, I have used testosterone topical on my arms, and used penis rings.

I am a smoker and am aware that it makes it worse but honestly I have felt this way since before I smoked. I am not obese but could use a little more exercise, but again this has been a nearly life long struggle.

Anyone else have this problem or have suggestions that could help?

You need to see your doc and have your testosterone tested. Obviously stop using the patches week before you have the test! There is no point in supplementing testosterone if your levels are already good. It may also be harmful. A 2013 study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, reported "the use of testosterone therapy was significantly associated with increased risk of adverse outcomes." The study began after a previous, randomized, clinical trial of testosterone therapy in men was stopped prematurely "due to adverse cardiovascular events raising concerns about testosterone therapy safety."

Hi mate I would like to give you help on that situation. I'm 47 I somke to but I can get hard at a drop. All i can think of is that you might need to see a doctor about it.

Sometimes we put too much thought in to it. Go see your doctor first and foremost, however, I've notice that when I stop exercise I struggle to stay focus sexually and then I just cant perform. I'd say exercise, go to your doctor and if you smoke less better.
