4 weeks post circumcision - swelling badly

Hi all. So it has been 32 days after my circumcision, and the swelling is becoming worse. The suture used is coated Vicryl, not sure why the surgeon chose that but according to the internet it does take longer to dissolve (around 50days so only 2 stitches came off currently), maybe it has something to do with that? The swell is quite severe and almost looks like a swimming ring under the glans, I have tried everything others told me - ice cubes, salt water, pointing it up, elastic bandages, none of them seem to reduce swelling. The swell is soft when the penis is flaccid but during erection it becomes harder and does bring some pain when I press on it. Should I go see an urologist for this? Or should I wait a few more weeks?

Ice is a waste of time and too late for salt water to do any good. I think your only options are to keep it upright or maybe compression. I appreciate you’ve already tried both though.

Interesting, you appear to have remnants of the ridge band. What does it look like now?
