Balanitis treatment

Hi has anyone had here laser treatment or any other form of treatment for balanitis. The creams don't seem to work and looking at alternative options possible. I had partially closing the urethra before so it really bothers me. Had circumcision as well.

Hi Man, it sounds like you may have had lichen sclerosis or BXO before your circumcision this can affect your urethra even after your circumcision. have you had any tests done like a full urodynamics test. you would need to speak with a specialist urologist who has good knowledge of lichen sclerosus.

Thank you. I had a cystoscopy and came back all clear. The urologist said thats the best way to check.

what kind of balanitis have you got,caused by bacteria/fungus or a zoon type caused by a skin condition like lichen planus/psoriasis

Hi. The dermatologist said it is a non specific Balanitis. I had LS.

I've been told that my balanitis is cured but the redness may stay with me for the rest of my life,maybe yours is the same.

I don't think mine healed as the redness spreading and as well I do feel slight burning sensation.
