Balanitis

Hi i have been having balanitis for a long time. I'm in my twenties now. Can i know how do i cure it or do i need circumcision for it. If circumcision, will it be a painful process/procedure for my age since there are more erections at this age. Please do assist me. Thanks

are you diabetic by chance? I know I was suffering from this, but also phimosis. My doctor kept telling me that I’d need a circumcision. I just had it done about two weeks ago, and it has made a difference. My blood glucose levels are way lower now! And I’m not having Any problems So far. Just getting used to it. But yeah, talk to ur doctor, or better yet, see a urologist and they’ll let you know for sure! Hope this helps

Look mate . I’ve had it for 2 years used every cream available no relief. Dry my penis after every shower and even washed it in the bathroom sink and dried it with a towel after every piss. But finally I got it fixed for me anyway.

Emu aid was the magic touch.

I also tried every cream available only thing that helped me was lotion with lactic acid in it. I did get circumcised and regret it. Other people seem happy though.

Why do you regret getting circumcised? Does it cause any problems ? Or are there any side effects?

My doctor did a bad job and removed too much skin. My scar is ugly and I lost probably 60 percent of my sensation. Having to use lube every time sucks.

Hey can I ask did you use the standard Emuaid or Emuaid Max? And how is it looking now?

Have you tried experimenting by keeping your foreskin retracted for as long as possible to see if that makes any improvement wrt your balanitis? If it doesn't then that might answer your circumcision question.

Sorry I don’t know much about balanitis but if you wish to know some info about going through the surgery etc after care and all that you can message me. If you are from the UK I can refer you to circumcision help desk they are great and very helpful. They helped me their booklets are great and helpful. Please do your research and speak to your GP.
