2 months after circumcision

I got circumcised exactly 2 months ago, the swelling on the side is still a bit puffed up and tender. Is this normal? I haven’t had sex at all during this period but have masturbated a bit. Any tips

The swelling should go down. I have some raised parts on my scar line still 6 months after the surgery and I don't think it will go away. I'm not sure why it happens. Maybe the doctor tightened the stitches too much? Why did you get circumcised?

The sensitivity is fine now on the head it’s just one side of it the stitches are still very sore and tender. I got circumcised because of phimosis couldn’t pull the skin back when erect. Just unsure when I should try have sex. I assumed the scar should be flat by now

Did you try stretching with topical steroid creams or did you go straight for a circumcision? Stretching is helpful in 90 percent of cases.

You can massage your scar with some ointment or lotion. You can probably have sex as long as it doesn't hurt.

Yeah mate I did and every time I had sex (because I am Very much a grower) because I ripped my banjo string it healed back with scar tissue and tightened the foreskin so I couldn’t peel it back so hurt every time even after using cream. So had to get the circumcision. So you suggest using the cream I used within the 2 weeks again?

Use a lotion. Some people say bio oil but I don't think what lotion you use matters. But swelling can take a long time to heal and sometimes doesn't. I was hoping my swelling/scarring would fade but it didn't.

Hi, you do have a little swelling they're still it can be normal even 2 months afterwards. it could take up to a year before everything is properly healed. Evething is looking fine if you massage gently everyday I found Bio-Oil very good, and it's no harm to masturbate with it and having regular erections the massaging will eventually soften your scar and smooth it out your swelling should go down in time.

I waited 4 weeks had a little bit of swelling and all was fine. My scar like still feels tough and bumpy but understand this will go with time and bio oil

Hey man i got circumcised 5 years ago and i am now 25, it took mine six weeks to heal and stop hurting.

At 4 weeks in a could not resist the urge to masturbate so i lubed up real good and only jerked the head and not touching shaft or scar.

At first my circumcision was very tight where my skin could not move and infact started to retract at the base so what i did to fix that was use my bathmate and did daily light pumping sessions to ever so gently stretch the skin little by little but did not push to the point of pain.

Now after doing that when fully erect my skin pulls nice and snug on my shaft with little mobility but not slack to buge or cover the glands.

Over time all the swelling would go down and the scar would flattern out like the rest of you shaft and the scar also becomes the most sensitive and pleasurable part.

Hey bro yeah that’s t gets better definitely takes a while to chill out just have to be patient. It’s more o a mental thing eventually rather than pain itself due to it being quite a massively private area to be operate on! any others questions list ask Bro

thanks for replying! yeah it's definitely a mental thing, feels like it's not getting better at all and it takes a toll on you... i've started applying bio-oil 2x a day and massaging a bit to break down any hard bumps. how long did it take for the swelling to go down for you?

hey bro.. i m kind of in the same situation.. been 2.5 months since my circumcision and removal of frenulum…. there not much swelling for me but it still gives out sharp stinging and burning pain on one side of the scar and where the frenulum was.. it also only happens after masturbation.. and takes hours to go back to not hurting… doesnt hurt if i dont masturbate or without any sexual activity but hurts like hell for hours or a full day after finishing…..did the same thing happen to you?? and how long did it take for it to stop hurting completely?? thanks..

Did you have any hard lumps below the circumcision line under the shaft skin? They kinda feel like a hard to the touch round.
