Hi, it’s still normal. It can even take 6 months to disappear ... also, are you a grower by any chance ? I am 15 days after the cut and I’m the same as you. My doctor was helpful and he explained me that this will indeed go away, but if not a minor surgery can fix the odema. I assume it’s under your glans and above the cut.
You are welcome bro. I was also nervous till I talked to my doctor and then I also saw literally dozens of comments who have been in the same situation like you and me. All got resolved with happy end. ☺️It’s normal to be impatient too. My swelling is also going down so slowly that I can realise some reduction only after every 3-4 days. But we are getting there and it’s not causing any health issues. Yes, your swelling has the same location as my one too. I will keep you updated!
im 2 months in and still swelling , my doc told me to use polysporin on swelling area
You really need to calm down and not stress out. We have had guys on the forum who have had residual swelling at 12 months! There is little more that your doctor/surgeon can say. It really is a matter of time. Antibiotics are only for bacterial infections and not a cure for everything. You do not appear to have an infection. Using them inappropriately may cause problems in the future.
Hi, It's all part of the healing process, i am in week 5 and almost overnight the swelling started to down and it is basically back to its normal size. I was worried and posted on here a few days ago about the swelling but it's all good. Give it time, Take care.
Yes, Where before it was really swollen, the swelling has now gone down on its own. The only thing I have been doing is soak it in salty water twice a day to help with the healing process.
It’s reduced from the initial swelling. However, it’s lymphoedema and my Doc said it’s perfectly normal. Can take up to a year to diffuse. Common complication of circumcision as the lymph system has been severed during circumcision
