Circumcision day 16, is my wound healing okay?

Hello everyone,

I had a circumcision 16 days ago due to balanitis and just wanted to check with you if my wound is healing okay?

I have also checked with my nurse who has taken care of the wound and she said that the healing is going as it should and I shouldn't worry, but I still want to check with you just to be sure.

What is worrying me is the front part where it seems to have a kind of space and then it continues with two bumps(?), also is the yellowish stuff normal? My nurse said it was just dead skin and nothing to worry about.

Hi Man, you are healing slowly it is different for everybody some guys heal faster. hopefully in 6 months time it will be all fine it does take time. I think it looks ok and it's not infected the yellow stuff is from the healing hopefully the bumps will smooth out in time they can be from the stitches and some swelling it should reduce in time. I would use some salted water for cleaning it well help with the wound.

I use salted water to clean it twice per day and also use a cream that my doctor has given me. I hope that it will be fine

Yeah it's just taking a bit longer. maybe you could have a checked again with your doctor just for your own peace of mind. once your wound is healed and stitches are gone start using some bio oil it will help with the scar and those bumps.
