Hey all I got circumcised as I had a tight foreskin and could not pull it back when my penis was errect.
It's been 10 days for now post surgery and I wanted to know if my penis is healing well.
My glans is still sensitive but not as much as the day of surgery. There is no pain when I pee and there is mild pain when I have an errection.
The stitches used are of absorbable type and they are itching like hell. I'm not going anywhere as the lockdown is effective and I'm all nude in my room doing my work and stuff. I just sit under a fan and keep the area dry.
How long would it take to heal properly so that I can resume my normal activities such as able to walk freely without worrying about the stinging sensation when cloth rubs against my glans and when can I start having sex ?

The rate at which stitches dissolves varies and some guys have the external ends for a few weeks. Did your surgeon not tell you when you can resume sex of any kind? Too early and vigorous and you risk tearing the fragile new skin around the wound.
He said il have to wait until 7 weeks to resume sexual activity but my glans is sensitive and if any cloth makes contact , it gives me a stinging feeling... How do I alleviate this feeling ?
He said stitches are dissolvable but ....do Stitches fall on their own or should I get it removed as I cannot undergo any more pain....
Erections do not stop during the recovery period. They do not effect the healing time as long as they do not pop sutures. Glans sensitivity, like the rest, is a matter of time.
I have done ZSR CIRCUMCISION also. It's day no: 17 for me.
Day 1: ZSR CIRCUMCISION surgery done because of never streched skin in 32 my years of age.

Today i noticed something about SENSITIVITY.
At frenulum part, it's super SENSITIVITY, while other part less sensitivity
Additionally, feeling very less pain and i think i don't need pain killer madicine in future because i can feel healing.
Urine is ok, no pain in urine.
but because of dressing i need to take care hygiene and i am taking care of cleaning penis especially after urine done.
I am taking all precautions as per doctor's strict order
On time medicines, wash/clean, rest, good home made food, fruits etc.
No smoking, no drinking, no sex and especially focusing on erection but still whole sleeping, some dream things increases my erection, i know it's very bad at this time but i am working on it very hard.
One thing noticed
May be medicine for stopping erection not working or it's less working on me, but I AM NOT SURE.
Day 3: fighting with erection.(even sleeping without any thoughts, still erection automatically)
But i am fighting my best. So not to worry.
(especially i was sleeping 5 pm time)
I watch pranks, listen jokes, read books which keeps me happy and fresh and divert mind.
Day:4. minimal infection(yellow liquid shade on frenulum part ) reducing slowly slowly itself as my doctor said.
Drinking as much water as i can.
Very little blood 1-2 spot found, which is very normal i think.(just little spot, no bleeding)
I am doing dressing 2 times per day. (No bath, only hot water+savlon punching to whole body)
Day 5: glance skin pilling off by itself automatically and Yellow infection ending.
I do dressing two times a day.
No pain killers used till now and i dont want to use it in future.
Glance HYPER-SENSITIVITY is there. (It's decreasing i think, which is good)
FRENULUM PART HAS HYPER SENSITIVITY.
Three times a day erection i feel but i use all my strength to control erection. Till now i controlling erection best of my side and i wish in future i do control it too. Day by day it's being hard to control but it's ok. I must control so i am doing.
Day 6: medicines finishing, should i continue madicines??so, doctor replied yes and told me to continue for next 5 days. Do i done.
Day-7. Yellow liquid infection thing is paining when trying to dry before dressing. because i can see stitch wire on FRENULUM and that yellow liquid comming from inside wire . That yellow liquid started firstly from FRENULUM.
I hope this is all good.
Currently that yellow liquid infection is on FRENULUM part only. Very small amount but it can't let heal skin untill infection is there.so let's see, i am waiting till infection when will it disappear.
Day 8: erections controlling.
Dressing 3 times a day because of urine drops makes wetness on sterile gauze.
Taking Totally bed rest and not even one piece of cloth on body i am wearing. so, currently no idea about glance sensitivity. Naked sleeping makes me very very comfortable so i like it. I don't like wearing pants or underwear currently.
If i drink less water, it forces in urine and little pain while urine. But if i drink lot of water then no problems. So, drinking water very very much.
Day 9: thinking of when will silicon ring fall down. Day by day it's irritates during even medium erections.
I think from 2 sides silicon ring slowly 1 by 1 part coming up and i cut it by help of plucker and sessior and nail cutter. Here, doctor said silicon ring will be fall down it self within 15-18 days.
Day:10
Feeling like ring hearting pinching like needle from inside gauze when touching glance because ring started touching glance. So, as doctor said cut one by one ring part whenever in comes up. I think ring comming out slowly slowly and so cutting it as doctor told me. But handling very very gently.
Day 11: now being out of control of erection.
When erection, the broken ring pinching and pinching like needle from inside.
I wish ring come out fast. It comes out slowly day by day so no worry.
i can not control erections anymore it just out of my control. So i let it be erect it self and in 5 minutes it slowly slowly gets to normal position.
i will not do any handjob and related any sex activity till 2 months from now.
Day 12: tonight my medicines will be finished. So doctor told me to continue medicines for 5 more days. So i did it.
Very very hardcore erections every 5 minutes. Tried control all the time but still i am failed to control erection.
I surrendered to erections now.
Let it be. nothing i can do now.
Day:13
During sleeping in night, i feel like someone is pinching needle inside my gauze. I think it's because of silicon ring comming out day by day. If it's the reason then no problem i can understand.
During erections, i can feel skin burn on silicon ring part. So, i am trying to control erections atleast a try one more time.
If no erection, then no skin burn.
Day:14
Check up day to doctor. He checked me and replied e everything is working perfectly. Not to worry anything. Total in 21 days it's heal completely as he told me.
TOTAL 21 DAYS ok.
Day 15- hard rock erections. But feels so good so let it be
Just feeling like I have new weapon.
Day 16- only 2 nos staple pins are remaining in silicon ring. I think in 2 days it will fall off.
Glance sensitivity decreases day by day. But still i am uncomfortable when something touches glance.its so awkward feeling but if, glance is covered by gauze then it let me walk and do things of normal life.
After everything heal, then after only i try to walk without gauze.
So, let's see what and when it happens.
And additionally, when inside my home, i always keep open glance from gauze. Here i wear gauze but glance all time open.
Day 17- today morning last dose of medicine i took. So asked doctor for medicines continue or not. And he said it's enough and no more medicines required.
Additionally, i advice to take rest, try control erections if possible most. Must take care hygiene especially after urine.
Don't leave your gauze wet. Wash/bath gently. Vitamin c helps skin healing faster.
I eat fruits much. Glance sensitivity need little more time like i feel that it needs 2 months but not sure. But sensitivity will be normal day by day so don't take any tensions. Handle your penis all time gently. No gym or heavy work during 2 months if you want fast results.
The area where the frenulum was removed ALWAYS takes the longest time to heal. It’s puffy and swollen after the rest of the incision heals. Mine was like that and it looks great now.
Yes scabs are present and now I'm on day 19 and still the stitches haven't dropped off. But till date I haven't allowed water to fall on my penis.... I still haven't put water and cleaned them since day 2 when doc dressed and told me to leave it open for better results..... I always keep it dry and my glans the skin has started to dry and peel off...
Looks good to me. Honestly, first 2 weeks it's natural to panic somewhat. As the swelling goes down, the scabs start falling off, and the stitches dissipate, you'll be very happy.
Stitches only start coming off on week 4 for me. by week 5 they all came off.
I tried getting a blowjob at week 8. It was too sensitive for me. However, masturbating I was able to do from week 8 onward very slowly.
The craving for sex goes down. It was weird. first 4 weeks I wanted it. After that, it tuned down as I started to realize I need to heal properly .
