Is my circumcision healing correctly I’m on day19 no pain, swelling going down fine but the skin won’t seem to bond with the head of Penis in places. One side is fine and healed over well. my stitches came out early Maby after a week which might have something to do with it.

Hey, it looks to have healed up well it's still early days for you. you possibly have a slightly loose cut or some excess skin when you or flaccid. is there much of a difference between it being flaccid and fully erect do you have any skin movement when fully erect?

Hi mate. I do think I’m slightly loose cut yes but it’s just seemed to almost stop healing over the passed week, thanks for you reply

Just seeing iff it’s normal to heal this way. Haven’t seen any other similar posts on here

I think it's healing just fine and looks really good sometimes it might appear it's not joining up to the glans if it is slightly loose cut when you are flaccid. You don't look to have any open wounds. You could start to use some bio oil it would help to soften and blend in the scar. When I am really flaccid my foreskin will come up to the rim of my glans as well like yours.

Right so do you think it’s okay to use bio oil at this stage. I’m kinda worried bocs it hasn’t fully closed up yet ?thanks for your reply

Yh no open wound but it’s still kinda like slightly moist where’s it’s trying to heal

ok have you been saltwater washing try that for another few days and then start on the bio oil you might have a little swelling there still too.

Is that piece of red skin right next to glans, part of the glans? I was trying to figure out if this is part of the mucosa or is it part of the glans? I have something similar on my penis and I was always trying to figure out what it was. In some places it is fused to the glans while in other places it is located just below the glans or one place it is located midshaft. What do you think?

I was circumcised as an infant. To this day: one side is open and the other side is closed. I’m not sure exactly what happened to us lol. What’s kind of interesting is that I have a very similar pattern of lines on the head of my penis too. I wonder if something happened to both of us that was bad. I think in both of our cases our glans got damaged. Also check if you have a nick on your urethra? I have a nick on my urethra, which explains why I have suffered a lot of discomfort wearing clothing. When you were uncut did the base of your glans look longer? I’m not sure what’s normal and what’s not.

It depends how your surgeon did cut your skin. But looks okay
