Hi everyone I’m new in this community, I had a circumcision a week ago and I have this hematoma since then, I’m worried something went wrong, it hasn’t faded a little bit since then but also it hasn’t grow in size, should I be worried, or is normal In this cases?

Thanks in advance for your comments,

if it does get any larger or start to swell then I'd suggest seeing your doctor/GP - a hematoma is a little different than a bruise and can take anywhere from 1 week to 1 month to fully heal and go away, usually they are harmless.

Hi Man, it should be ok if it gets any bigger than maybe have it checked it's only been a week for you so you will have some bruising and swelling they can take some time to go down but I wouldn't worry too much.

Just wondering you seem to have a paleness around the base of your glans was that always there?

Hi, thanks for answer, the paleness is actually Italdermol cream, a dr friend of mine recommend it to heal faster. I was recommended silver sulfadiazine first but just make my stitches bleed so I stop using it. The Italdermol seems to be working, but that bruise isn’t fading.

That explains it then The paleness. the bruising can take a while, I remember mine didn't come up for 3 or 4 days and then it got all bruised where I was injected with anaesthetic.

Its very normal. Bleeding is good thing when you have a hematoma. Let your doctor know if you haven’t already. My hemotoma was much larger. It takes time to heal, but it will.
