So I’ve always been aware since I was a little boy that my penis is twisted. I asked my mom why it was like that and she told me it’s normal, but that’s also the same thing the kid with six finger’s mom told him. What causes this and is it normal? Also are there any ways to fix it? I measure 7.5 inches if that matters. While flaccid it twists as much as 80 degrees as opposed to only 20ish degrees erect.

Most penises have some sort of a curve to them. Many bend slightly to the left or right, whilst some bend up or down (or even combinations). So if the 'twist' is only a bend in one plane then that is absolutely nothing to be concerned about (unless painful - in which case it could be Peyronies and need medical attention).

However if you do actually have a rotational twist then you need to consult a urologist about it as soon as possible.

A slight rotational twist is recommend to let it be, because operation repositioning skin results in equally bad and good. Severe penile torsion though is considered worthwhile if desired as it is not necessary to function.
