Why still irritation on penis even after 4 months CIRCUMCISION. Is this normal?

After 4 months of circumcision, still 30% irritation between glance and cut skin part. I am worried and feeling like do i have to live with this irritation forever or what? Did i took bad decision of circumcision? I have to gently and carefully touch all time otherwise it pain/irritates. So i dont touch cicumcised part because of irritation. Why this 30% irritation not going? I am worried. Is this irritation will be life time? Oh my god if yes, then i can not do sex anymore with this irritation. Please help

A complete recovery was 8 months for me.

It will settle eventually I promise. Like Clay says it took me 8 to 9 months before I could walk around without being aware of it. Its not forever!
