Hey guys, yesterday marked the 6th week after circ surgery. It was my first time taking it out for a ride with one of my girlfriends and While I was having sex my penis hurt and felt tender where my scar is while inside her vagina. Is this normal? She even sucked it for 20 minutes and that was painful as well. Is it sensitive? Tender? Anyone else have this problem? I usually can go for a while but after 5 minutes I couldn’t take it any longer and we had to stop

Yes, you have to be gentle and go slow. Over time things go back to normal.

6 weeks is quite a short time to start having sex after circumcision. The scar will still be tender. You will just need to be patient. Frustrating I know, but better in the long run.

Please don’t let the comments above worry you. The pain and over-sensitivity of a recently circumcised glans penis will soon disappear.

I was circumcised as a baby. I am now 43 and my glans penis is not dried up. It is not calloused. It is not leathery. My sons were circumcised as babies. They are now 16 and 12 and their glans penises are not dried up. They are not calloused. They are not leathery.

You may lose a bit of sensitivity but you may also find that you last longer as a result.

My glans penis is a pink colour rather than purple (except for the rim) but I couldn’t care less about that. It is certainly shiny enough for me. My boys’ glans penises are a deep purple colour and very shiny.

I posted a photo of my penis the other day so please take a look if you want to. I specifically posted it so that people could see what a circumcised penis looks like. You will see that I’m not calloused or leathery or anything else.

I love being circumcised. My partner Natasha loves me being circumcised. My sons love being circumcised. I hope that when things settle down you will love it too.

Thank you for your kind comments. I am very lucky to be with Natasha. She’s a great wife and mum. She’s fab at sex too and I still fancy her like mad. She actually brought up the subject of circumcising our boys before I did (though I had made up my mind already that any sons of mine would be circumcised). We share a lot of interests and beliefs on parenting, naturism, and other things.

It gets a lot better. At first it would swell up a bit around the scar. The scar was hard too but has subsided. I posted a picture 4 months in a while back that was similar to what you are experiencing.

I just don’t get you. I understand you warning of potential consequences of circumcision. I understand you suggesting other methods to sort out problems so that circumcision isn’t necessary. But you say things like the glans becomes calloused as if it always happens and it clearly doesn’t. Mine isn’t. My sons’ aren’t. People here need help and suggestions. They do not need to be told that circumcision is ruining their penis.
