Hard bump on penis after circumcision

Hey guys. I had a circumcision done about 10days ago and some far the stitches have fallen off and the wound has healed up pretty well but my concern is I've developed two very prominent bumps on the shaft under the skin they have an irregular shape. They are near the scar but not underneath it and have a consistency similar to the cartilage in your ear. They are a little bit painful when I push down on them. Has anyone ever experienced this before?

It is where the surgeon has sealed off a vein during the surgery to stop it bleeding.

I’ve got one of these too. It’s nothinng to worry about mate. It has gotten softer over time. I’m currently 6 and a half weeks post op and it has got much better. I can still notice it but it’s slowly fading and the pain is easing.

Oh OK thanks. Did u take anything or do anything to help it go down like ice or warm compress it or did it spontaneously go down?

It just goes down over time. Ice is more for the swelling if you have any.

Have you figured out if the lumps were because of vein knots after cutting by doctor? Have your gotten better? I have lumps on both side of my penis shaft. Its been 12 days since circumcision for me

Yeah it's normal I have 3

4 weeks passed since I had surgery

Doctor said they will get fine with time

But they always be there for whole life

hi got the same problem nearly over 1 year and half still have scar which exceed outside my glands have you the same problem and have got any effective way or treatment to solve this..this is very painful mentally

I have the same this a hard lump on the shaft that's slightly painful when pressed hard upon. I'm close to 3 weeks after circumcision and the lump is huge and it looks weired

Guys any updates on this? Has the lump gone? I had circumcision 10 days ago, and erections are painful because of lumps on both side of shaft. I have read somewhere that they might be veins closed ends

8 months update:

The lumps went down after about 2 months although it could have been earlier i just noticed it after 2 months. The wound healed perfectly. After the wound healed I just made sure I kept the stitch line clean and I lotioned it really well every day BUT don't do this if your wound hasn't healed I just did this to make sure the skin looked good and the scar to even out. 8 months later everything is awesome I'm happy. Looks better, feels better and definitely gives me confidence!

I was circumcised short time after i was borned,i had the bumps later and I'm afraid that will it grow or not.

Anyone can answer please...I have got one bump ....looks like it will take more time...but will it pain while having intercourse? I am on my 25th day post op and don't plan to masturbate or have sex till 6 weeks minimum

Here is the solution for that, I am facing the same problem and my Urologist told me that they are the blood clots from time of surgery and they would go away on their own. However she suggested me to use baby Aspirin for a month. Aspirin can work as a blood thinner which can help dissolve those bumps. I started using it form today. You can use regular dose of Aspirin as well but make sure you're taking small doses.

DO NOT use it if your wound hasn't been healed (or) you're having a bleeding issues as aspirin can make bleeding worse.

Hi, I had surgery nearly 8 weeks ago and a long period of my penis healing but like other comments, I have lumps under the underside of the head. It’s still tender and getting me down as it’s very tender and uncomfortable. I’m wondering thing will ever get back to normal.
