Buried Penis After Circumcision

So I just got circumcised on April 30th due to bad phimosis. I went with a normal style look, not a high and tight, which was also done with skin glue rather than the traditional stitches. After my procedure I could clearly see the head of my penis. However the next day during a follow up visit we noticed my penis had sunk in... he said that he expected that to happen bandaged it up a bit and that was it. But my penis is literally still inside of me, almost as if I wasn’t circumcised. I can pul the head back out and it looks good but there is so much swelling around the base, almost like a golf ball sized swelling. Also my scrotum is kinda bunch up too which is odd. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m kind of concerned

Yes. There is a ton of swelling going on now that will take some time to go away. Im kinda heavy so my surgeon told me to, as able, pop the head out to prevent a phimosis issue. If you are thinner then it will eventually stay popped out on its own. Not a doctor just my experience

Same here, I’m a pretty heavy set dude but I’ve always been able to see the head of my penis, even when I was circumcised. I’m also a grower not a shower which makes sense.

dont worry too much, it’s like this for about the first 30 days, for some even longer. As long as your hygiene is good, you’ll be fine

Bro it will still be swollen and traumatised. Give it at least 4 weeks before you have any idea what the end result will look like. Good luck.

I have a check up appointment tomorrow and I’m praying to the universe everything goes well. I am still slightly concerned as to why it still feels so tight as if I’m not circumcised but the bigger issue being my penis going inside of me. I can even see the Circumcision line when I pop the head out. Also I have golf ball sized swelling that you can see but you can definitely feel. I’m nervous

Well it has been a little over 2 months for me now and over time it settled out a bit. Truly it won’t be fully healed for about 6 months before you have an actual end result but it looks much better now. The doctors said the new skin still has to re-stretch so I would recommended using natural coconut oil to help it out about a month after your procedure. I had a lot of swelling and stuff so I actually waited almost 2 months before applying it. Pull back and expose your head as much as possible throughout the day, and don’t worry about it too much. It will eventually be fine and recover

How are you feeling now as i am also partial circumcision and worried about erection time skin not going full down the glans and my frenulum also cut so worried how i can take back skin ?? Manually need help? I have cut near frenulum on foreskin so can’t take skin back in flaccid also because it make pain should i need to do stretching skin back or no need worry??

Nope, you need to absolutely do nothing but let it heal and keep your hygiene up. Trust me, it will all work itself out. Everything heals back just fine

It’s a traumatic wound so it is going to look scary for the first 3 months before you noticed huge progress. Your body will recover properly and everything will be just fine. I’m pain free and sex/masterbation actually feels way better for me now

That happened to me too in the beginning. Believe it or not, what is left of your skin is swelling and swallowing up your penis. After week 2, you will noticed the swelling will go down. By month 3, the majority of the swelling went down for me.

Are you going through partial circumcision? I am also partial circumcision and seems like have same swollen before i am on day 35 and in erection i see only 90% glans open then it feel so tight not going skin down the glans i bit worried about it still swollen have when all will be fine??

I am sorry I didn't find this earlier in my recovery. I honestly felt like I was deformed in some way. Mentally it was so challenging. I have to admit at times I felt like life was not worth living if I was going to end up like this. Silly I know but it so shocking to look at, I just wasn't prepared. Nearing week 3 seems to be looking a bit better.

The vast majority of people don’t have this complication so don’t worry too much,and even if it does happen it’s temporary and only a bit uncomfortable…you’re still better off deserting from the cavaliers and joining the Roundheads😂👍

It’s ok… I’m avoiding researching the use of “clamps” and “staples” in this procedure… too much knowledge of the “how” before I have this done is sure the terrify me into remaining a cavalier!

Yeah I was told I was having the Pollock method of circumcision which was pain free,quick and used glue instead of stitches and staples,and all that was 100% accurate…that was all I knew about the procedure and that was how I kept it until after the op…..glad I did😂

Yeah it’s all normal lol I freaked out for a while at first but I promise it will heal just fine as long as you keep your hygiene up. Now that doesn’t mean scrub it and throw soap on it no, just make sure you’re washing it with warm water and applying your bacitracin after

So thankful for this post! I have been getting concerned about my penis seemingly being buried in as well. I’m hoping it’s due to swelling.

The standard position right now seems to be shaft is swallowed and just the glans poking out but still slightly covered by foreskin. There was a very uncomfortable tightness I was feeling whenever I would be sitting for a while and then would stand up to walk. Everything feels so tight and squeezed. It’s slowly feeling less tight as the glans pops in and out though so I’m hoping it will eventually feel like nothing. And then hopefully more of the shaft will be able to show as well.

Hi Edguurr that was a reassuring post to read?. I panicked too thinking why is it swollen going back in?. Glad yours looks good now.. did you leave frenulum in tact?. How did you stop night erections and the itch of healing?? Hopefully ive not popped any stitches day 2 i dont thinkso though.. When you say retract can you give me idea how far back how many times day ? ?I guess scared handling to much for infections or stitches etc, so just so I see stitches or further back more ?? All the way back to base. As its swollen. Did u salt water bath after 2 days or shower?? Cheers

hi buddy - I’m 9 months post surgery (tomorrow!) and all is great! Wish I’d done it 29 years earlier!!

You asked how you stop night time erections… in my experience, you don’t! You just “cope” with them!

They are awful… and best advice I had was keep a bag of frozen peas near the front of the freezer! Very effective at reversing a boner fast and easing the pain! I did have about 4-5 sleepless nights where I was running back and forward to the freezer!

Important thing to remember is it’s just 4-5 nights!! It’s a short term problem in a long term solution. And once past it’s gone and forgotten. Won’t lie - at the time it’s hard! (Sorry for the pun!)

You’ve got a couple of difficult weeks to cope with buddy then a whole new positive world with an amazing new cock!!

I think you’re talking about from the stitches? I had dissolving stitches and most went between week 3-4… one persistent one I had to remove myself from frenulum! I didn’t fancy the district nurse tugging it out so took a long hit bath and eased it out as gently as I could!!

Takes a while for all swelling and scar to sort itself - I used something called contractubex for the scar once the wound had healed and all looks pretty good now.

Apologies for the late response. It will get better I promise, it just takes a bit of time. However, the most important thing is hygiene, just make sure to not over do it. All it takes is daily baths with warm water and scented free soap. Honestly just warm water alone is fine, add some bacitracin after you have dried up

No worries thanks using salt water dunks on odd occasion after a long day , but not washing to often day 8 .. looking ok. Stitches still in so that’s good. thank-you
