Banjo string (frenulum) question post circumcision

Hi guys

I had a circumcision 2 weeks ago as I had phimosis and also had to have a biopsy on something the dr didn’t like the look of. It was all healing nicely if not a little slowly and then after 8/9 days in I had a night of quite a few night time errections and it hurt like hell.

I had a shower in the morning and my frenulum started to bleed (a little by not a lot) but it stung like hell.

I have kept it back under bandage again and been really careful not to disturb it too much but I think the frenulum looks completed shredded. Does this look normal to any one?

I am going to see my surgeon but thought I would ask the group as well

Hi Man, it does look very sore looking it will heal but it will take time the frenulum is always the slowest place to heal. I would try and keep it clean with some salt water bath but be very gentle and careful I would keep it dressed with some non adhering dressing and some gauze dressing over that so it wouldn't be rubbing off your clothes.

I would get it checked out when you are going back to your doctor.

Those night-time erections are a real nuisance when you are trying to heal.

Did you have LS? it can be the cause of phimosis or did you always have it. is that why your doctor took a biopsy for LS or was it for something else?

Thanks mate. No they took a biopsy for an abnormal growth but they think it is benign so fingers crossed.
