Infection after circumcision

Hi I had circumcision a 10 days ago and it’s looks infected what shall I do as I’ve been given tablets for it for it don’t seem to work I need help

Is it oozing puss, and does it smell. Pus is normal part of healing, but a smell isnt. Maybe if you are of age, post a picture and someone can help a bit more. You can always go back to your urooogist, GP or walkin clinic.

Hi Man, you went to the doctor's and got some antibiotics it will take a few days for tablets to work I would keep it clean with some salt baths. All you can do is wait for things to improve.

did the doctor give you a sick note for work?

I’ve used one sick not but won’t be able to get my next one until next week the thing is it’s still too sensitive to put clothes on I don’t know what to do because I want this to hurry up and heal

You should have no problem getting sick note, just ring up and ask for repeat. Wearing tight pants with non-stick padding to keep things still will help reduce the pain.

Use pain killers as necessary.

You should go to a doctor immediately to check it out and if necessary, get different kind of antibiotics if the ones you have now don't seem to work. Don't wait, because it could get a lot worse...
