Concerned after Circumcision.

Guys... I am concerned! I had circumcision done and now my penis head is against my body. What is going on? The doc says everything is fine and I am just fat where the penis is, but I am not a fat guy. If it at least had some shaft I would feel better but now I dont have the size Im used to. I have the width but hardly any length now. Its now 4 days after the circumcision and it hurts when I go hard. I can hardly walk with a hard on. Should I be concerned or give it at least the 4 week healing period? I was also done in the chair with local anastetic. The experience was not very pleasant to me and very stressful.

No worries , i had the same its an medical surgury at the end and ur body is healing its quite normal that ur penis is small now as erection cause him pain which the brain and the body try to avoid also the type of penis plays a Big rule im a shower means my penis gets way small when flacid and i also had the same look u describe actually my penis did retract that much that i got a skin argound my glans that i called my doctor and Asked did u do a partial circumcising So don’t worry things will change soon actually painful erection can help healing as the blood flow there and it’s good for the new cell forms in the scar

Thanks buddy. Because I feel like my life was destroyed through this and at this stage if its not getting better, then I feel to sue. It is still early like 4 days as I was done on Monday and its friday today. I had a hard-on early in the morning and it hurts. I guess that I find it disturbing that I dont see much size extention. Im just thinking that things should have shown some change yet. Got a meeting with the doc later. I will add his comments for others if they go through the same.

I’m 23 days After and things are getting better in same time the incision is still sensitive and will take time I got bruises for few days and Adimi things are totally changing and had the same impression that my penis is shorter and stuff but it all changed when ever the tight incision lose alittle also the erection was painful but I didn’t manage to control them as that little pain was some how also a reason for the erections and the sentive glans I suggust u sleep on the side and keep ur penis up and don’t sleep in pants as it worse things when erection get obstacles on the way like the underwear take it easy and watch things change and heal don’t panic nothing will be worse then the first day now things will just get better

4 days recovery is nothing. This is all to be expected. Your body is reacting to the trauma of the surgery and in time it will get better. Do not think in 4 weeks your penis will be completely healed and back to normal. The incision will be closed by 4 weeks however, your penis tissues are still remodeling, taking changes and healing. You will feel tenderness and tightness. I’d say the erections stop being painful after day 10 upon which they become tight feeling because the scar tissue is brand new and is not elastic yet. New scar tissue doesn’t stretch yet like the skin on the rest of your body so go easy on how you handle your penis.

I am on day 23 (getting close to that 4 week mark) and I cannot see myself “resuming sexual activity at 4 weeks” I mean, it’s possible to gently masturbate by rubbing the frenulum area with lube at my current stage but my incision line is tender- I don’t want to prolong healing so I’m exercising some self control here. The scar is tight right now. The tissues need to regain elasticity so that erections are comfortable. My doctor says 8-16 weeks is a much more realistic timeline to feeling “normal”- it just depends on how you reacted to the trauma of the surgery. Sex is certainly possible before this but it could be uncomfortable and you could hurt yourself.

One tip my doctor gave me to avoid the bad swelling that most people get on here is to wrap the penis in a pressure wrap. I’ve been applying pure Emu oil all over (has good anti-inflammatory properties) followed by 2 layers of gauze, then I wrap with a compression gauze/bandage- the kind that clings to itself. Not too tight- you want gentle pressure, not strangulation. By applying some pressure to your penis, you are not allowing room for inflammation to set in and make your penis look like a balloon. Change the bandage every 2-3 days, gently wash the penis and repeat. My doctor has me doing this for 10 days and then we reevaluate. If you or anyone reading this already has inflammation/swelling, a wrap after the fact will help and you should notice swelling go down in several days time. I really do think the pure emu oil helps with inflammation too.

It does seem the faster you take action on the inflammation, the better your outcome. The inflammation will go away on its own but only after your tissues have healed. That’s why you see some people on here with swelling still at 6 months and further out. Prevention is key to not having it stick around.

To be honest it’s normal to experience having painful erections for the first 2 weeks, i was the same you just gotta bear it or try walking around think about random shit or use a cold compress(that could be useful as it reduces swelling around the area as well)

I’m sorry you have to go through this i was in the same spot 2 months ago it is tough no doubt but totally worth it in the end. When you’re ready mate start having salt baths every day that promotes healing and helped me a lot in the process. As for the main issue of the penis not being natural length i think that should be alright at this stage. You’ve got to remember you had sharp objects on your dick man, mine was a little disfigured at first and had less length than normal due to it being really sore but adjusted itself over time. If it persists after like 2 weeks i’d say contact your doc again.

Hi mate. I’m now 13 weeks post surgery & I’ve still not got my full length back ☹️ Hardly anything to grab hold of when flaccid, & approximately 4 inches shorter when erect ☹️ Like you erections are painful. I can feel the penis trying to extend more but the skin won’t stretch, & the scar line feels so tight. Doc has told me it’s impossible I've lost length, but thankfully I have pics to prove I have. Going to receive a ‘chemically induced erection’ next week so the Doc can see for himself. I’m certainly not happy ☹️ & truly wish I’d never had it done. I’ve a very high sex drive & this very prolonged period of inactivity is playing hell.

I agree and feel your pain regarding the high sex drive. I think we must give it more time as mentioned above for the skin to become flexable again. Let me know what your doc says after you had your meeting with him.

I have the same sitiation as you. Also now a mushroom for a penis where I also had a 8 inch when erected. I have 14 stitches and the penis shaft is inside. I can feel its trying to extend but just not enough flexable skin. It will take time like everyone suggests. I cant wait to be able to have sex again.

The pain is better, but its going to take some time for the skin to become flexable again. Still bit painfull when waking up with an erection
